The Radiology Information System form goes to the medical & nursing applications family of 4th‐Integrated Care Solutions (ICS)' suite. It is based upon an extended, evolvable and scalable architecture that combines shared data and information flexibly, concentrating on the appropriate and efficient delivery of the relevant knowledge to all approved users. Being the result of practical research, it includes both states of the art courses and real‐world conditions for efficient use. It complements a hospital management system (e.g., for electronic health records, billing, order management, and image archiving and information) and is important to efficient workflow to radiological studies.
